     I will be back after the first of the year with quilts to share. Really. I will.
     Being the President of our local guild took more time than I thought. I had so much fun, but it didn't leave much time for other things, like blogging. Looking forward to catching up with all of you.

Happy New Year 2012!!

     Happy New Year!! It is starting out as a great one for me and I am so thankful.
     Yesterday was my first day as president of our local quilt guild and I had so much fun. We played a game, had a raffle and discussed our Quilt Show in May.  We have a quilt show every even year.  I can't wait. They are a lot of work, but so rewarding and so much fun to see all the beautiful quilts.
     It is shaping up to be a busy year and I have lots planned. I will teach a class this coming Tuesday and each second Tuesday of the month. I already have the quilt made I will teach and that is a big help.
     I need to get another quilt top made before next month's class, thankfully it is cut out and I need to get four quilt tops ready to FMQ.  No sweat, eh? Har, har.
     Hope you are having just as much fun as I am. Good luck with all your WIPs and UFOs!
