"...in a time lacking in truth and uncertainty and filled with anquish and despair, no woman should be shamefaced in attemping to give back to the world, through her work, a portion of its lost heart." Louise Bogan, American Poet 1897-1970

Soldier Quilt Fabric

In the first picture is a panel from the "Quilts of Valor" line by Marcus and in the second picture, the striped piece is also from that line. The other fabrics were pulled from my stash.  I have started working on the top and have one more border to add of the stripes and it will look like a piano key border without all the work. :o) There is a deadline, so I am using a cheater panel and striped border print to have it done in time.  I'm sure whoever receives this quilt will know it was made with love and a thankful heart. I plan on free motion quilting it myself.  Did I just say that?  I'm commited now! Maybe someone should commit me! Heh, heh. If I find it's not working I can always pass it off for someone else to quilt, but at least I want to give it the ole college try.

Please support our troops.  If you don't want to stand behind them feel free to stand in front in them!  I don't believe in war, but I believe in our troops. God Bless them all!!!

     Blessings on your day, Deborah

  1. No, not 'cheater' panel…

'Creative, inspiring, I'll put the details in other places panel'.

    Let's get our terms correct.

    Over and out.
