"...in a time lacking in truth and uncertainty and filled with anquish and despair, no woman should be shamefaced in attemping to give back to the world, through her work, a portion of its lost heart." Louise Bogan, American Poet 1897-1970

Abby's Quilt

My aunt Patsy will be coming for a visit Wednesday - Friday and I am going to help her make a quilt for her granddaughter Abby. Abby's mother chose the flannel sock monkey fabric and Patsy chose the "Off the Grid" pattern (see previous post for pattern) . I have cut the 5x5" squares to save time. We will use a yummy red flannel for the inserted strips and the backing. This is going to be fun sewing with my aunt. We haven't done anything like this together in years. Let the quilt party begin!!

I hope you have something fun planned this week, too!
     Blessings, Deborah

  1. I hope you two won't get up to any 'monkey business' while she is there. Though knowing Patsy, this may be difficult to avoid!
