"...in a time lacking in truth and uncertainty and filled with anquish and despair, no woman should be shamefaced in attemping to give back to the world, through her work, a portion of its lost heart." Louise Bogan, American Poet 1897-1970

Pinwheels!!

I started with this:

Then used the Lil Twister tool found here,
and made these pinwheels. Easy peasy. Really kewl way to make pinwheels
There is some waste, but so worth the end result. I just love them!

You do end up with 2.5" squares shown at the bottom of the picture.
I bought the tool to use with 5" squares. I had a charm pack in my 1930's stash.
I want the one to use with 10" squares.
What is really neat is it makes its own border, too. How cool is that?!

I've had a busy, past couple of days in my sewing room.
I sewed all the nine patch squares for the "Off the Grid" quilt.
Cut the borders for Sidelines.

Then sewed them on today.
I love how this turned out.

Tomorrow I'll have a special treat to share with you.
My neighbor inherited a Sunbonnet Sue quilt that will make you swoon.

Wishing you peace and blessings today and always.   Deborah
